Some study about 3D MAX software

Further study on 3D MAX software

-Autodesk 3ds MAx, formerly 3D Studio Max , is a professional 3D computer graphics program for making 3D animations , models, games and images.

-It is developed and produced by Autodesk Media and Entertainment .

-All process such as modeling , rendering , animation, rigging ,texturing and so on can be done in 3D MAX.

-Moreover, the latest version of 3D MAX also features shaders ,dynamic simulation, particle systems, radiosity and so on.

Rendering :
-I only know 2 type of rendering which is mental ray and V-ray which can be seen in the render setup in 3D max .

Mental ray  is a production quality renderer developed by mental images. It is integrated into the later versions of 3ds Max, and is a powerful raytracing renderer with bucket rendering, a technique that allows distributing the rendering task for a single image between several computers efficiently, using TCP network protocol.

V-Ray :A third-party render engine plug-in for 3D Studio MAX. It is widely used, frequently substituting the standard and mental ray renderers which are included bundled with 3ds Max. V-Ray continues to be compatible with older versions of 3ds Max.
